ControlOMatic, Inc., a California manufacturer of saltwater chlorine generators for pools and spas, has moved to a new, larger, state of the art manufacturing and warehouse facility.

Due to the successful introduction of innovative new salt chlorine generators for spas and above ground pools, and the overwhelming acceptance of the equipment by the pool and spa industry, ControlOMatic has moved to a much larger facility in a neighboring locale.  In addition to expanding manufacturing and warehousing for the popular SmarterSpa, ChlorMaker and MegaChor product lines, the move also allows for further growth in engineering, purchasing, and customer service. A primary benefit of the transition is the greatly enlarged assembly area enabling a range of product to be built simultaneously. The result: enhanced delivery times and extensive product testing.

“We are very excited about the positive market reaction to the many innovations our chlorine generator equipment provides, and the recent jump in orders confirm the market is eager to offer our products,” said Terri Van Wagner, Operations Manager for the company. “This expansion will allow us to handle the additional demand while also providing the space needed to bring new and innovated products to market.” To achieve the highest level of cost-effective performance, ControlOMatic relies on innovative design engineering, precision machining and advanced electronics.

The new building is occupied and operational at:  12146 Charles Drive, Grass Valley, CA 95945.  Contact:  [email protected] for more information or visit:  https://www.controlomatic.com.

Commercial-grade pool pump brings powerful design and versatile performance to residential applications

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – September 13, 2022 — Hayward Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HAYW) (“Hayward” or the “Company”), a global designer, manufacturer, and marketer of a broad portfolio of pool equipment and technology, today introduced the TriStar XL high performance pump, the newest addition to its flagship award-winning TriStar line of equipment. The XL model is Hayward’s most powerful residential pump, providing commercial-grade performance geared specifically toward larger pools, feature-rich builds and complex pool pad configurations.

With its impressive WEF efficiency ratings score of 9.9 @ 115V (7.2 @ 230V), the new TriStar XL pump is the next step up from Hayward’s TriStar VS 950 (2.7HP) pump with 2” x 2/5” unions, providing significant savings to pool owners on their annual energy bills. Among other features, the TriStar XL leverages its 2.5” x 3” unions and extra- large strainer basket for more power and flow.

Beyond its sheer size and power, TriStar XL boasts an array of versatile features to benefit larger pool pads. Most notably, the oversized strainer basket can be detached from the unit and mounted remotely, thanks to standard 3” ANSI flanged connectors. The digital control interface can also be rotated in four directions or installed remotely, providing even greater setup versatility for installers and owners alike.

The XL model is equipped with a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) motor, dual-voltage (115/230V) capability, and a chemical-resistant Viton® seal. It’s also built for seamless compatibility with Hayward’s top-rated Omni® automation platform, providing simplified control from virtually anywhere.

“The TriStar XL expands upon TriStar’s already impressive product lineup giving pool owners more versatile and powerful pool performance without sacrificing energy efficiency,” said Matt Kimball, Hayward VP of Product Management and Marketing. “A win-win with greater pad setup flexibility plus a whole lot of extra muscle.”

Like all products in Hayward’s trade-exclusive Expert Line®, TriStar XL high performance pumps are available only from pool professionals.

Viton is a registered trademark of the Chemours Company FC, LLC, which is neither affiliated with, nor endorses the products of, Hayward.
